We're Misunderstood

This blog is written by a young lady who was diagnosed with Lyme disease in January 2011.

As she says:  "Lyme disease is an epidemic larger than AIDS, West Nile Virus, and Bird Flu combined. The "great imitator", Lyme affects each person differently. Millions are silently suffering, improperly diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, ALS, Alzheimer's, Psychiatric Disorders, and many others."

It is bad enough dealing with Chronic Lyme Disease and the many co-infections that go with it, but sometimes it is even harder trying to deal with the may sceptics and critics who pass comment when they are ignornant about the ravages of these illnesses.  It really is like having the sword of Damocleas hanging over you.

This blog is truely inspirational and the article "We're Misunderstood" could have been written by me, but after 30 years of battling this illness with no diagnosis, I don't think I could have stated it so well.

Take the Time to Learn about Lyme.

This is a short video by Turn The Corner Foundation who facilitate Practitioner training in the correct treatment of Lyme disease.  Please watch it and be informed about Lyme.

Borrelia burgdorferi can be passed from human to human... !

It has always been believed that the disease could not be transmitted directly from one person to another however live spirochetes have now been found in blood, urine, tears, semen, breast milk, cord blood, and vaginal secretions.

Many doctors who specialize in treating this disease are convinced now that Bb can be passed from one infected person to another by sexual contact or through the placenta from mother to baby in utero.  Even by a mother breastfeeding her baby.

In 2009 it was reported that the then existing 1.8 million cases of Bb cited by the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDCP) in Atlanta, Georgia had been under-reported by at least ten times.

In the US as at 2011 according to this projection, in actuality over 18 million Lyme disease patients now exist. That is an extraordinary amount of people ill with just Lyme disease (Bb / Neuroborreliosis)

Testing for Lyme can be helpful but is not always reliable. The attending doctor needs to be proficient in reading the reports accurately or 'flase negatives' can happen.

Lyme is primarily a clinical diagnosis based on history and symptoms.

Spirochete Warfare... It's been going on for over 75 years !!

It has now become apparent that the spirochetes were weaponized over 75 years ago. This information is published in 1944 in a book entitled "Japan's Secret Weapon" by Barclay Newman who was a leading science writer of the time, as well as former US Navy malaria scientist.

This book helps to confirm what some investigating the history of Lyme disease have long suspected; that the official denial of the devastating pathogenic nature of the granule and other "L-forms"(1) of Lyme-causing Borrelia, is related to their biological warfare significance.

Put bluntly, this book provides cogent circumstantial evidence that many Cell-wall deficient forms of Borrelia are in fact weaponized spirochetes, nurtured, cultured and optimized for aerosol delivery.

The following essay is based on the information in Chapter IV of Newman's book. The title of the chapter is simply "Spirochete Warfare".
